It's been a while since I posted a blog on this site. I've been very busy as of late. I bought a new camcorder and recorded some footage. I'll post a few up here to see if it gains attention

Parkour club
So far, all me and Brandon have for an idea is a good banner and to do demonstrations. As for our first meeting? We want to organize a "Leave no trace" event. basically, you go around the campus picking up trash while doing parkour. We want to do exercises before we head over to the park on the other side for training. If you know anyone who goes to CCC and wants to do parkour, let me or brandon know.

Yoga
Yoga is really good for your flexibility and well being. I've been doing it for 3 days now, and I've already improved on my flexibility and I feel better. I think everyone should try yoga. Take baby steps. Don't try to do things you know you can't do. It's all about patience and practice.

Stereotypes of Parkour
I keep hearing people saying that you will get hurt doing parkour and free running. Without proper training you will. Studies show that those who exercise will have better reaction time and stronger bones. While those who sit on couches all day will have brittle bones. Why do you think their bones break easily form just simply falling?

Parkour Club
I'm trying to start a parkour club on campus with my buddy Brandon. We already wen over the pros and cons of starting this kind of club.
If you know anyone on campus who does parkour, or would like to join, let me know.

Training Spots
There are a lot of good places to train for parkour and free running. You just have know where to look. It can be a playground or a gym. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as you're training with friends and having fun while doing it.
Rock Climbers and Parkour
Rock climbers can easily adapt to doing parkour. It involves a lot of climbing. It's a good hybrid style. You'll develop good finger strength in rock climbing and you develop good upper body strength.
I might do some rock climbing to make myself even better at climbing objects. Hell, I might be just like spider mand once I'm done
